Pearce Hardwick has been engaged in general real estate and related law practice representing primarily closely held businesses in practice areas of residential closings, commercial real estate development, financing and related areas. A graduate of Washington & Lee University (1962) and the University of Virginia Law School (1965), he has practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia since 1967, after 2 years in the U. S. Army, including service with the 9th Infantry Division in Viet Nam (Capt., U.S.A.R).

After 5 years in general practice including real estate, trust and estates, and general litigation, Mr. Hardwick’s law practice has concentrated in real property law, including all phases of commercial and residential real estate development including zoning, financing and leasing of office/warehouse projects, office and residential condominiums, self-storage facilities, assisted living development and finance, tax-free exchanges and residential purchases and lending. Through a wholly owned company, FHT Exchange, Inc., Mr. Hardwick also frequently serves as a qualified intermediary for Section 1031 tax-free exchanges.
